Well, up until yesterday, my passenger side power window worked find. Up down, no problems. When I got in yesterday afternoon and hit the button, nothing! It appears that the switch is working, because as I push the down button, the computer dims just a tiny bit. I haven't put a meter on it yet, but I'm pretty sure it's ok. I've checked the wires at the door hinge and they seem to be in order. Pulled the door apart, and everything seems fine underneath the skin too.
Do the motors just go out with no warning? Never had one die like that before. It does feel a bit warm to the touch after I play with the button a bit, so it seems siezed up, but who knows? Any tricks to check futher or must I replace motor?

P.S. FIgured out my driveline Clunk too. It helps when you actually tighten the nuts on the drive shaft to rear diff!!! What an idiot I am!!!! |
