Power steering help on 87' 325 es

Hello all...
I just got the above car as a "fixer upper" and I need a little advice...
The power steering is not hooked up and the fluid that is in it is a nice shade of muddy brown...
Question is, what is the best way to flush out the system with out having to hook up the pump??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My bad, didn't edit your post. I did move it, though. You have an E30.

Just undo the lines at the bottom of the reservoir.
Then use ATF and ATF only. Not power steering fluid.
You might have to buy new lines to hook it back up.
A little $$, but you'll have power steering again.

run power steering fluid in the system, turn on the car for a few minutes , flush and repeat...
