the difference is being able to turn the steering wheel with one finger or flexing your biceps and forearms to turn the wheel good luck parellel parking.

Actually the difference on a e30 is not that great compared to other cars... (prae a 1969 chevelle) because it has a power assisted steering and not true power steering. If you wanna find out what its like without removing it, all you have to do is find the belt and take it off for the day.

But you dont notice any difference in speeds above 10-15 mph, which is like a high idle...

It be cool if the BMW Gods made it so the people people who really love their E30's had their E30 engines somehow Blessed, and then you just got an extra 200HP, and the Engine looked the exact same, wait, better make it an extra 300Hp for the hell of it. Kinda random, but wouldnt that rule?

WEll for a daily driver bmw i would hate to not have powersteering specially in my e36! But if i bought an e30 and turned it all track i would get rid of power steering first thing! IF you havent driven a car without powersterring do it! you will see that if you were tracking it no power steering is the way to go! Specailly when you are corning that fast!
