power antenna

Hi, is there a way to make the power antenna go up without the power? Or to put some power into it and make it go up.

If its off the car yes you can put power in to it, if its on the car its controlled by the radio being switched on/off,so if its on the car and you want it up after putting power through, when you turn the radio off it may go down again.

I assume you are trying to check it. Pull the soft panels out of the trunk disconnect the power wire from the block on the base of the antenne (so you dont back feed power to the stereo and smoke it) apply 12v positive,ground comes frome the mount. if its good it should rise. good luck
