well, ive just been informed from my cousin(aginst his better judgement ) that he has a "Parts Car" BMW that he wants to rid himself of...
He informed me that the car is a RUNNING 1988 325 (Super Eta???) Coupe
It has Roughly 100-140,000 miles and runs and drives fine... He said that a mechanic looked at the car and said it just had a vacume leak...
it has an Automatic Trans and torn seats... and a rust hole on the drivers rear fender... i duno how bad though....
i guess he called it a parts car cause he swaped some of the interior for his... but i think its all there..
alll he wants for this car is $500...
is it worth it?
ill post pics asap(hes gota go home in Washington DC and get it)
If i get it, itll be for my wife(so she can be on the forum and having HER OWN BMW )

^^
only one thing could be better than having one E30. MORE E30'S!!
However, I must tell you that there is a corollary that states that you may only have one project car at a time. I'm not sure who told me that, it was either my wife or God, I can't recall off hand.
Don't tell anyone, but E30's are quite possibly the stoutest BMW's out there.

i dont know about E30s Vs other BMWs, but man... so far, BMWs have been the best car ive ever owned... my black beast has 208,000+ so its starting to break down... its envitable... but i really want to fix my 325i and get this "super eta" and make my family a Bimmer Family
i dont intend this one to be a project actualy... ill prolly just get it DD able and drive it... but if thats the case i shoulda been jailed alond time a go :P
ill prolly ether sell my current DD(Geo Storm GSi, Dont Laugh...) or retire it as a Strict Auto/Rally Cross and then keep the I as a DD for myself... the Super Eta as my wifes car and the Mazda RX7 as a Sunday Driver...
AND then i have a truck too lol... anyone want to buy somthing??? lol
I duno if its been covered in this forum yet... but how can you tell a Super Eta? is there anything that will say it? I read on E30BEN that it just has alittle boost in power... anything else? whats so special about the Super Eta's?
yeah, ok i will say it... E30s are Better than the others

Laugh at what? I want a 1L 3cyl geo metro and turbocharge it and see what fun I can have till it pops. Buy another motor and try again.
Sorry to get off topic.
so kay.. lol you dont know how many times i get that with my storm... then i bust there modded Civic with my stock storm... this storm has a 1.6L DOHC 16Valve I4 that only pushes 130hp stock, but with that tiny body... but the good thing is there is a Turboed motor for that car...
Ive got a 96 I4 Metro if ya want it
