Possessed Instrument Cluster

Hey Guys, I need some help / advice. I have a 1984 325e and the gauge cluster is something but normal! To start the Tac is working 100% of the time. My Temp Gauge decides to Work 50% of the time and my Gas gauge 25% of the time. These two gauges will pop on while driving down the Free way and work till I turn off the car then they are dead again. The Speedometer is even more screwy. This thing looks like it has a heart beat then 10% of the time it will Kick in and work at any speed then some times only over 50 MPH
I know this is a Vague description but has anyone had this happen and if so,
IS IT JUST THE CLUSTER I should replace or will that not fix it at all? If its fuses or wires or sending units please let me know so I don’t waste time and money on a new cluster

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere, try unplugging the main harness plugs that go into the back of the cluster, clean & lube terminals.....reinsert & check!
