Please help. Rear wheel bearing…..

I’ve spent all day today on changing a rear wheel bearing and still I couldn’t change it.

At first I had problem of getting out an old wheel bearing. But know I’m having a problem of putting a new wheel bearing on a flange. Half of the wheel bearing is on the flange and the other half just don’t want to go on if you know what I mean. Now I've got the new bearing in about 90% of the way and it doesn't want to move any more.: ????

I’m sure there should be someone on this forum who changed rear wheel bearings. Please help me if you can so I can finish it tomorrow. Thanks
