I am about to tear my hair off i have a 1989 325i and the ignition went out. im not made of money, so i decided to install a push starter. but for some reason google (because google knows everything) couldnt give me any step by step instructions. if someone could PLEASE talk me through this (with pics if possible, because i have been at this for DAYS), i'll be so much less stressed.
thank you, and please dont tell me how lame push starts are. like i said im in a tight spot, and not made of money.

You can probly order a new one off ebay. for cheaper than getting one at the stealership

Have you already bought a bush button starter? It should come with instructions.

If not, I suggest fixing the ignition. Their are several excellent retailers that can get the parts you need for relatively cheap. What you mean the ignition went? Starter? Ignition tumbler?
