How difficult is it to install a performance chip?
Is there anything that should should be done after installation?

My brake lining light is on and sometimes goes off then on again. My brakes seem fine they were done 20,000 miles ago. I'm thinking a faulty sensor? Can the sensors be disconnected so the light goes off or do I need to replace the sensors for the light to go off?

There is a resistor on the back of the instrimunt cluster board that comes unsodered that will cause the light to come on and off. My E30 did this when I first got it. Pulled the cluster apart, sodered the resistor and it has been fine ever since. If you know what you are doing it takes about 45 min to do the repair.
