peake code reader

i just got my new peake code reader in the mail today, i put it on and got the no fault found symbol

but my car idles really rough--guess its just the valves

but i wanted to see it work so i unplugged a few sensors and ran the test again and still got no faults ---is this thing messed up or am i missing something?

Pretty sure your check engine light has to come on for you to get a code.

If your check engine light isnt on, then your peake won't register a code.


At least that is the way mine works...

i have a non US spec bimmer but the manual said the reader will still work
