hello, i'm new to the forums and i'm about to purchase a 1987 E30 325i as a project car. It currently isn't in running condition, it needs a new ignition coil, fuel pump, timing belt, and water pump. How easily can these parts be installed on your own and where would be a good place to find and buy these replacement parts?? thanks a bunch.
Your ability to fix these parts depends on your mechanic skill and availability of tools. All these parts can easily be replaced with a decent socket and wrench set.
I purchase all of my parts from BimmerSpecialist.com but other sites like Pelican Parts and GetBMWParts.com and TheBMWPartStore.com are all good as well.
