i've got an '84 318i and an '85 318i, the '84 is the running one and the other is for spare parts.
Having changed the head over, and gotten it back to running again, i've now come accross the problem that the oxygen sensor isn't hooked up at all. It would appear that somewhere in its previous life the wiring for the sensor had been cut off.
The wiring is present on the "spares" car, and i'd like to put this into the running car.
Does anyone know what the pins are for on the engine control unit located in the dash are for - specifically the oxygen sensor? i'd like to be able to add new wires rather than trace the whole wiring harness on the other car.
