Okay bimmer people I need your opinions.
I live in CT. and own a '92 325i cabrio.
I'm ready to winterize.
So here are 2 questions regarding oil:
Synthetic or not, and what weight???

How fresh is your engine and gaskets? Dino weight 10-40 will not squeeze out of gaskets. If you do Semi or Synthetic it will leak if your gaskets are remotely old.

I have a 1987 325is and i run valvoline max life 10-40 in the summer and early fall. Then i role over to 5-30 for late fall. Then i store it before it snows.
