Smile online parts purchasing

Hey all,

Just want to get a few opinions as far a web sites for quality parts purchasing. When I'm looking around the web there are so many places to purchase from as well as different makers of said parts. The parts I will be wanting to purchase right away are for a timing belt change, water pump and acc. drive belts. The last thing I want to do is pay dealer prices, but also absolutly do not want to purchase inferior parts. Also looking to purchase brake pads very soon. Again, any help with quality brands a places to purchase them would be appreciated.

Also, inregards to the timing belt I'm noticing some variance in different stock available for ordering from some of the different sites I've been looking at. One site lists 2 different tooth counts for the same application 127 & 128. Another site has a round tooth belt available for the same application. How would I know without opening up the motor prior to ordering which belt I need? Thanks again for you're help in advance.

Why not browse through the sponsors section; there's a wide variety offered there. About the timing belt variation, the two possibilities may be for the M20 2.5i as opposed to the M20 2.7e (eta) variants of that engine.

It appears as though your response to my post is mostly stating that which I have already come to see.(wide variety) hence the first part of my post. Thanks for the timing belt observation though.

I personally have had a good experience with bavauto.com. Good customer service and willing to provide some knowledge when I call.
