| one last oil leak
after cleaning up the motor and watching it run while under the lift there is an oil leak coming from the passenger side and it looks like its coming directly from the bell housing of the transmission. Now from what the paper works says that came with the car the rear main seal was swapped about 6 months ago when the new clutch went in.
I know there is a chance that they may have not seated the seal correctly but is there anything else that may leak back there and cause a similar issue? I've read that cam seals can be a culprit but i couldn't find how to get to them and im having a hard time finding the part number to get those seals.
any suggestions? |
