im sure there is already an old thread on here about resetting the oil service light. but i cant find it. and i'd just like to know. i know how to on my '90 525I

that oil service light bothers me now!! i know im spoiled. it bothers passengers too. like i have to hear "do you need an oil change or something"?

The difference between resetting the oil service light and the inspection light is in the length of time you have the jumper in place with the ignition on. This means that if you are resetting the oil service light, you should turn off the ignition immediately after the light goes out
