Greetings I have a oil light reset issue on my 1985 318i BMW
I don't know where, how, to reset it. I changed the oil but the
red light glares at me rather sternly.

it's 7 an 19...jump em...put a wire between the 2 plugs with the key out of ignition and then insert the key and turn the ignition on without starting the engine, and wait for a few seconds...the light will click off....I have done this 20 times....
and beyond that, do the same thing when the service engine light comes on....same thing...like the car knows when had the engine was tuned up last...total marketing crap......they want you to go into the dealer for these services as they can only magically turn the dash lights off via their magical service. Nope
