Oil Leak - BMW Forum

i have an e30 bmw 325i sport and an oil leak. i think it could be an oil sensor because it has a wire on it. it is located on the engine block on the underside next to the sump. Does anyone know?

yes the oil is slowly dripping out along the wire onto the the driveway.

That's pretty crazy. Mine is doing that as well. About 120000 miles on it. The part is $15 at the dealer and less than $10 at Advance Auto. Doesn't look like a big deal to change, but I'm not sure what torque spec to use.

i'm going to be selling the car and it doesn't look very good if it has an oil leak however trivial it may be.

Yeah, my wife gets pissed about it as well. It is a free country though, and as long as the moderators allow it, it goes. Kind of like we are free to waste time at work looking at BMW forums.

i agree with beach on this one.. those boobs are way saggy/cottage cheese.(now that i'm home i was actually able to look)
