well yesterday changed my oil and filter. so when i was done i started the car to look for leaks, i crawl under the car and see that my oil filter is leaking VERY VERY little, maybe like 5-8 drops total, i know its not much but it piss's me off. i tried to tightin it more but it didnt really help. then i though it was too tight so i loosened it.
still same probelm.
you i think i should tighting it alot more and see what happens or maybe the seal is damaged and i should get a new filter?

you probably broke the seal. your supposed to put a little oil on the seal and smear it all the way arround before you screw it on.

i had the same problem, i let it sit for a day, and checked it again, and there was no more leaks. maybe it was just extra from somewhere. id try letting it sit or something. maybe i just got lucky. Chris---
