yes I know what everyones thinking...why would I need help buying an oil filler cap, but heres the story....
last year I lost a cap (long story) so I went to checker and bought a Fram oil cap...worked well untill winter rolled around and as I was removing the cap it broke....to make it even better it broke while it was on, making it impossible to take off. After working with it for a few hours (and I mean litterally a few hours) I was finally able to take it off. As you can imagine I was NOT about to put that broken cap back so I had to run to Checker and once again buy the only oil cap they had for my car...another fram. Since then I've noticed quit a bit a oil leaking out of the cap and on to the heat sheilds between the plugs and the exhaust.....
so my first cap broke, second cap leaks...now I'm looking to buy a new cap that IS NOT made by fram.....any suggestions?
