offabroadway is an unknown quantity at this point
Hey everyone. A little while ago I figured that 1qt of oil every 5000kms wasn't a big deal. Now, I've been doing mostly city driving, and most of it not sedate, so I discovered today when my oil light came on that I went through 1qt in about 3000kms.

It's the ETA 2.7L. Is this bad, decent, nothing to be worried about, or unload the car before it's too late material?

just have to figure out where the oils going first.. it is being burned off or leaking out or both?

is there excessive smoke upon deceleration, acceleration, startup, etc.. is there oily residue inside the exhaust pipe (not carbon build up, but slimy oily stuff) or on the spark plugs?

need more info about where the oil is going before desciding if a car is done for or not

Like nuke, i would be suspicious that oil is seeping into a cyliner/spark-plug. Remove the spark plugs and inspect for fouling. If so, a cyliner head gasket is most likely to blame. Especially with the age of your car I would consider R&Ring them...
