Off-idle hesitation issue - BMW Forum

Ok, I have had this hesitation since I bought the car and rebuilt the top end, but at first thought it was from 2 year old fuel. But now I have fresh fuel in it, and I STILL have this annoying 1 second hesitation. Ive spent the last 2 days TRYING to track down a POSSIBLE cause. But Im coming up with NOTHING so far. Any ideas? Ive checked for vacume leaks, air leaks downstream of the mass airflow sensor, etc. Nothing, no vacume leaks, no downstream airleaks. The car is a 1990 325 IS, M20B25 engine.

maybe plugs and wires need changed.

Thought about that, but then I remembered I replaced the plugs with brand new ones when I overhauled the top end. It only happens once it warms up and runs for a few minutes.
