Odometer Frozen

Hey everyone. As you can read above, my odometer quit on me a few days ago. It was rolling over to 270,000 and sorta froze in mid-twist... couldn't make it. So my odometer is out by a bit now, and my tripmeter won't work either, which means gas mileage calculations are out the window.

How do you fix this?

The car's odometer started working again yesterday afternoon. So it was frozen for approximately 50-75kms, and now its back in action. Odd.

My car has no problem. About to roll on to 280,000 miles

i heard it was from the gears that turn the odometers becoming worn out or even gel like, but its nice that it started working again, love it when things do that, like my foggies.
