OBC, Tachometer, Radio not working - BMW Forum

Well,

I have a 93 bmw 325i cab. E30 body style.

The OBC, tachometer, and radio are all not working.

I've replaced all fuses associated with these components form the ETM.

The tach was working yesterday, but isnt today. The OBC and radio have been out for quite a while.

The backlight for the OBC is working.

(edit) also, my power mirrors aren't working, neither is the MPG gauge.

Has the car had any re-wiring done?

The following is what I've noticed.

There was an Alpine 8040 security system, which I have removed, but everything functioned with that installed, and the OBC and radio were also not working with it installed, so I'd rule that out. Its install looks professional.

The wire to the horn was replaced by the PO.

Thats all the rewiring I've noticed.

Well I'd say there may be a bit of a hunt ahead.

I think i might as well replace the SI batteries. Probably needs to be done, and its a thing off the list.
