OBC

How easy is it to fit an OBC? I know that it fits where the clock is at the moment but is there any aditional wiring or sensors that need to be fitted?

Im not exactly whats there on the I wiring wise but theres a lot of stuff that goes over to the gauge cluster/computer like to the spedometer for max mph, average mph, the economy gauge for average gallons per mile (however you measly mortals get miles to the gallon) and ... uhh car lock feature, which im afraid to turn on.


Dont know if that exactly helps you, never done the swap myself because i already have OBC.

The wiring is there for the On Board Compter, OBC.

The OBS relay is not in the wiring so it would need to ne installed.
The outside temp sensor is also a needed item.

Here is an e24 diagram for a visual reference.

Even the fuses are the same.
