Red face not sure, but my door hinge...

not the hinge but the arm that keeps the door from opening too far... anyway, the guide for the arm is broke and the arm is jamming up against the window track. i have to open the door to roll the window up and down... any idea how to fix this problem?

change the arm assembly. sooner or later it's gonna hit the glass in a bad way that you will not like and then you'll have more probs(i.e. broken or chipped window...).

I'm CJB I close to you I guess. I'm in Nashville. I would suggest pelicanparts.com They have everything you need for your bimmer. I also have an 84 318i that I'm parting out. Hit my box cjbbaines@bellsouth.net if interested, I have pics also. I got plenty of good parts left, so get at me
