how can you tell if your clutch is slipping. I have a 1987 325 ever since i was born (iam 18) and my Pops never changes the clutch. i am woried because i ve been driving the car ever since i was 16. just wondering
everything just starts to feel loose around your feet. get going like 30 or 40, put it in
5th gear and punch the gas. if the engine revs way up, that means the clutch is not catching. how many miles are on it??? my old 325 had 197,000 miles on it before i had the first clutch changed.

well i have over 190,000miles on it. but the mile counter thingy stoped working. did the 40 the put it in fift gear thing, nothing happend cept rilly slow acceleration. the clutch still has a stiff feeling to it, and i like it. my friends who drives stick hondas say its to stiff for them to drive around for a long time. so i am guessing this is a good thing!
