I've been noticing this sound, it's almost a squeaking noise and my car is constantly bumping up and down. Also when I jacked up my car, every single time I raised the jack I was hearing that squeaking noise until the tire was finally off the ground and in the air. Any ideas?

yeah that's what I figured just wanted to make sure.. the strut is starting to poke through the rubber. So what kind of struts are stock on these cars? From my understanding the iS has the upgraded suspension?

Goto RealOEM.com and type in the last seven of your vin# to get the correct strut inserts, "iS" cars have specific inserts.
they are just stock e30 boge shocks, i just put bilsteins in my '89 and i didnt see any difference in the ones i pulled out and any other e30 i have done
