 no starting again.
Okay, I am back. I had my 87 325e running. She was doing good and I had a ticking so I adjusted the valves and went to turn her over and got the just cranking.It really did not want to turn over so I after she was running I shut it off and tired it again and nothing. There was a pop when I cranked it and the starter would just click. So I thought okay the starter went. I removed the starter and and checked it and even had a parts store check it. it passed and was working good. I have gone threw everything I can think of. I have checked the relay and even put a new one in. I have checked the volts at the + and - coil, all good. I have checked the ground at the coil and it was good. I have even jumped the main relay and still got nothing. I have checked the ignition switch well best I could. It all seems to be okay but have never checked one before. So before I go and drop $50+ on a new one thought I would see if anyone had something I could try. |
