No More Power Windows

Hi All -

I'm having issues w/ my power windows on my 1987 E30.

I've searched the web and done as much as I can with the advice found there. About 2-3 weeks ago all of my power window switches stopped working a the same time. In addition, they no longer are lit at night indicating to me that I'm sure it's an electrical problem.

I've checked the fuses in the fuse box and they look good. My hard switch for the power windows is located actually on my dash - I've pushed that in and out multiple times to no avail. I've tried it with in all possible positions - but pushed in should be the right one.

I even took off the drivers kneepad and looked at wires/relays there and they seemed okay though I didn't use a multi-meter to look at voltages/etc.

Thanks in advance - this one really has be puzzled. Might have to make a trip to the dealership and would like to avoid that at all costs!

How do I remove the circuit breaker?

Is this the button that I described on my dash that pops in and out?

How do I remove this? Do I just pop off the top part of the button? It looks like it could pop off if I used a exacto-knife - there is a seam I could pop off the top part of the button?
