| Last week bought a 12/87 325. By vin brakedown it started life as 325IS automatic.
I bought it with a stick. Has a lot of custom work done... was a show car .... has a ton of "ac schitzer" badges on it, lowered, nice wide custom bmw rims, racing dynamics lower body kit, new tailights. Trunk is filled with alpine audio - 6 amps, 2 equalizers, second battery, hudge sub. Alpine cassette, cd changer in glove box, equalizer and more components under the seats. It took me 2 days to trace miles of wires and get the audio workking again, need to replace couple torned speakers. Car was done by profesionals, just butchered later by someone.
Fixed a lot of electrical problems, related to cut up wires and blownd fuses.
Still not working:
1. Backup lights (can be it never worked after auto to stick conversion)
2. interior ligting
3. Miles not turning, but speed and RPM is present.
4. Fog lights not working.
that is all electrical related.
I will take it the local bmw shop to check out susp/engine/trany
any pointers on speedo and fog light ?
