tell me more about what tranny u guys used? the one that was mated to the m20? i know bellhousing is not the same so how did it work/how hard was it. i need info.

its the M50 tranny, the M50 sits at a different "tilt" or "angle" if you will the M20 tranny wont work unless you make a custom tranny brace when its mated to the M50, but with the E21 trans mounts the M50 tranny bolts to the M20 tranny brace

Not to mention the M50 tranny is 1,000,000x better than the POS M20 tranny

How much for your swap?

Not really sure what the final total on the swap was but after I sold some stuff off of the E36 I got the engine and trans from the engine and trans only cost me about $75

For the rest of the parts I probably spent around $2500, new clutch, new flywheel, intake reseal, trans reseal, under drive pulleys, harness adapter, control arm mounts, new O2 sensor, new spark plugs, CARB legal cold air intake, new valve cover gasket, rear main seal, ect.
