Just thought I'd post to say hello. Just bought my 1st BMW. It was owned by a BMW mechanic. Lowered 1.25 inches with Tokico shocks and Eibach springs. I think Im going to replace the seats because the drivers side is a sport seat (tan) and the passengers side is in poor condition. The interior is tan but I want black leather sport seats front and back. How do you guys think it would look?

Sweet ride, I switched my tan sport seats for the black ones too. They just look better.

Do you happen to know if newer seats or seats from other models will fit mine? I guess I could just go to all the salvedge yards in my area and see what they have. I'd like to stay with the same model so that I keep it more true to the model.

My black ones came from an 84, then I gave my tan ones out of my 86 to my little brother for his 89 BMW I gave him. So long as it's an E30, I'd have to say yes. But there is a bracket you can make for dirt cheap to put newer seats in E30, or so I'm told....

Body color mirrors? That's interesting..
Speak of, nice paint! Welcome to the forums, it's great to see someone bringing on an E30 that's had some love in its life. Most of ours are falling apart. Looks like you got a peach, I hope you'll be real happy with it.

Huh? I wasn't talking about my car. I know the newer ones are better, and I want one, but until this ones wheels fall off, I won't be buying another one! I was just telling d:\ to shadowline his windows for a cool stealth look.

SOME wagon bodies are appealing, and I have to say that yours is one of them! Paint and body are SWEET in the pic, how much did it set you back if you don't mind my asking? Guessing you are somewhere in Europe?
Well, WELCOME to all Bimmer phreaques!
