I just purchased a nice red BMW 323i
Its my first BMW and my second ever car.
I basically know nothing about BMW's but when i saw this car i though "I MUST HAVE IT!"
So i took it for a test drive, it was great - i was sold on it. For peace of mind i got it professionally checked/evaluated. Everything seemed cool so i got it. ive had it for 2 days and i just love it.
The only thing is i know nothing about it! People ask me the specs and i go "ummm"
The seller said it was a 86. yet i cant find a record of 323i's from 86(so maybe it was purchased in 86?). it has a zedler(?) body kit and after market suspension, and is one of 5 that were imported to Western Australia.
Anyway i just wanted some info on the history of the car just so i can tell people when they ask me.
It has a GR badge.
Thanks in advance. -Lime

hi i,m a new boy too and mad on bmw E30,s that looks a really nice one, and i love the chrome round the windows. also you dont see many with square headlights, well not around these parts anyway (england) i to was hooked when i first jumped in one and am on my second one now.
i,ve a bit more about myself on my website if you fancy dropping in.
http://bimmerx1.250free.com the guys on here know tons more than me so you,ll get plenty of help if you need it all the best steve
BMW did make a limited amount Of E30 323i but as it was slower than the E21 323i They had to got to the 325i if you are in doubt about the cc find the chassis plate under the bonnet (right inner wing I think) the this plate you’ll see as few sets of numbers one will start WBA and is 17 digits long that the chassis number then there should be one than looks like 23 6S1 that the engine number and the first 2 digits of this relate to the cc of the engine:
i.e. 23 = 2300cc (this applies to all but the very latest BMWs) is it is an 323 the engine is a M20 B23
that things sexy... but maybe get rid of those ugly square headlamps.
just my opinion.
