I just wanted to introduce myself, and ask a few questions. My name is Nate, I am looking at buying a e30 BMW, however, I dont know much about them. I was hoping I could get some answers.
Well first, Ive been able to find a lot of e30s for very cheap. This somewhat confuses me. BMWs are known to be expensive. Is there any reason for the low prices? Or am I just finded some in bad condition?
Secondly, What are the differences between all the 325s (325e/i/is, etc.)? And does anyone have the specs on them?
325 and 325e have the ETA 2.7 liter engine, lower output and better economy. 325i has the high revving greater output and performance IMO the preferred models. The values are just cause they are old I guess. Thanks for the help. Are there any major problems with the e30 3 series as commuters? I love the looks and BMW. I am 17, and still in high school, so i need something cheap but something i want. Are these cars reliable? Do they break down often? How is their gas efficiency? Are they hard to fix/expensive?

in a really small nutshell, what you would want to know:

fucking sick Recaro Seats
better suspension
usually better wheels
iS lip sometimes
rear spoiler
OBC
different steering wheel sometimes

doesnt have what an iS has.

Mine has been very reliable, and repairs have not been too expensive. I have the basic computer and it freaks out once in a while, but still works. MPG seems to hover around 20
