Hi guys. I'm looking into possibly purchasing a 1982 323i B6 Alpina. Would the new Alpina wheels fit on this car? Sorry if this is a really idiotic question but as far as this goes, I'm not technically inclined.

Also, do 18" fit comfortably or would 17" be better?

those weels are one of the best choices for E30s.... get the 17's cause 18 are just getting too big and woudn't look right..

if u want to see a bunch of E30's with those weels on sign up for the r3vlimited.com forums and take a look around

17 is as big as you can go on an E21 without body modifications.

18's will fit on an E30 easier than a E21 but I think there is still some minor body work needed to get them to fit. If it was me, I wouldn't go any bigger than a 17. To me anything bigger than that on an E30 looks out of place. I'm only going to go with 15's or 16's on my E30 to keep tire prices down cause the way I drive I'm lucky if I can get my tires to last more than 10 months.

Gotcha.. 17" wouldn't rub on the E30, right? What about the E21?

17's on an E21 is going to be close. The wheel width and offset need to be perfect for them to fit without rubbing.
