Need a New Radiator

My radiator has a leak in it and needs to be replaced. Has anyone ever replaced a radiator and is it difficult? Any input would be appreciated, thanks

i never replaces one before but its very easy to change. there like 4 bolts holding it to the body. just take them off and all the other stuff thats on it and change it out. o and you will probley have to take off the black plactice safe gargthing off

First off what are you working on? But anyway 4 or 6 cyl. it's very easy. Drain the coolant by undoing the petcock on the bottom driver side of the radiator remove the coolant filler cap (this will make it drain much faster). While that's draining, unbolt or unclip the fan shroud, leave it in there, don't try to take it out if you have a 6 cyl. After the coolant has drained out, undo all three hoses and unplug any sensors. Then remove the raidator retainer, it should have only 2 10mm bolts holding it in place. Then just lift it up and out.

Thanks, i have a 1990 325i, sounds pretty easy, now i just have to save up and get the radiator
