need hlp to get 350hp-400

hey all would love some hlp i have a 1986 325e i have around 10k to fix engine and susp any ideas. want to do all of it my self. what type of engine to get? most likly puttin a supercharger on it basicly need a list of parts from the ground up and what cars to get them from .

do some internals and get a supercharger for it... but with only $10k it will be tough considering the supercharger alone is like $7k... $1400 for cams... and so on and so forth... you could always put a chevy crate motor under the hood... that will be 400 out of the box and cost about 6k-7k and then you could spend some time making it fit and then buy suspension with the difference... but thats all I can think of to help you out... maybe someone will have some better ideas...

Yeah.......I don't think he will ever get 350 to 400 hp from the 86' 325e, 2.7 L M20B27 engine? {122 hp stock} Even with internals & a super charger!

Thats actually a lot of money to put into the car if you do everything right. Turbo it and put the money in support mods.
