need help to find part - BMW Forum

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I don't know a lot about BMW's.
Custom application.
I'm looking for an intake manifold, carbureted, like the one in the picture what models and engines use that piece. I think the engine is a 1.9 L that was originally injected.

That is off of a 70's BMW 2002. I'll ask around, but I don't see many running around any more.....

yeah thats a 2002... theres a few left still but not many as starvin was saying... but yeah why would you want a carb for your car anyways? what kind of car is yours?

I ripped that pic from here http://members.shaw.ca/driverwanted/ that motor is stuffed into a 85 325e Its a ministock class of racing that is restricted to 4 cyl and no fuel injection, club carburetor of holley 5200. BTW i don't know that guy, I just found his page one day.

I want to build the same kind of thing but know nothing of BMW's and doing some research, I've done other oval track racing and building with camaro's.

I currently have two BMW's I bought really cheap as parts cars, 84 318i and a 78 320i. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I could stuff the 78 2 liter in the 318 and find the 2002 intake and bolt it on, right?
