Car: 1983 b.m.w 320i Posts: 3 Photos:	need help with hello i need help wiring my starter for my 1983 320i just cant figure out were the brown wire goes and the terminals with yellow black does anyone have a pic of starter for 320i 1983 i just cant get her to turn over help please

darkhorse737 5th Gear Member Join Date: May 2008 Location: San Francisco, CA Car: 88 super ETA, 95 525i Posts: 1,494 Photos:	solid brown wire "usually" color coded to mean a ground wire in bimmers. Check with an ohmeter to make sure. black/yellow = terminal 50 on your starter, PIN 11 on your diagnostic connector; cold start injector valve; and, thermo time switch Last edited by darkhorse737; 07-13-2008 at 12:32 PM.
