A few of you were wanting to know what my Spintech muffler looked like on my E30 so I took some pics today. Normally the muffler is all black but I went through some water on my way to work today and it got muddy water spots on it. The muffler is a Spintech, Sportsman Street series, dual 2 1/4" inlets with a single 3" outlet. I painted the muffler and turndown flat black so it won't stand out. I don't mind chrome tips, I had them on Z28, but for what I'm trying to do with my car they aren't going to fit the look I'm after. I am very happy with the way it sounds but it may be too loud for some people. Ever since I put a Spintech on my 320i, almost a year ago, it is the only muffler that will go on my cars. They have a very well made construction and a nice deeper tone to them. If you like raspy exhaust look elsewhere cause you won't get that sound using a Spintech.
that is an awsome muffler... If i ever drop my E30 I should DEFINETLY consider that muffler... it is very low profile and would be perfect for my damn drivway. If i droped my E30 now with the huge magnaflow, the tips would scrap away.
have any pics from a farther distance, oo and soundclips :-)
oo and btw for any ppl wonder what he is tring to do to his car...I'll take a guess and say he is tring to make it look as "slow" as he can, while making it hella fast to fool the competiders and damn ricers :-)

They do but you have to go with 2 1/2" inlets. The 2 1/4" inlets on mine are about 1/4" bigger than the stock inlets and it took some work and reducers for it to work properly with the stock pipes. I don't have any sound/video clips. Maybe over the long weekend I can get some. I'll take a pic from further away on Friday after I wash my car.
