i dont know if anyone remembers the first pics of my car i put on it. it was last winter and the car had a big ugly aftermarket front bumper on it, needed a little fixing up and a good wash and wax. (it was real dirty)
like michael jackson dirty if you know what i mean.
but anyway, since then ive put the stock 325i front bumper on, done a little trim painting, replaced the radiator and water pump, repalced the insturment cluster, new tires all the way around, smoked a few rice racers at stop lights, installed a JC performace chip, added a set of angel eyes, and cleaned the shit out of it... inside and out.
i think the finished product looks pretty damn good.

hmmm...dont know what you mean M.J. dirty?? You got a 7 year old drunk then you played around with the young boy in the back seat, and it got kinda messy? Thats a pretty shitty deal. Angel eyes look great but seem a little too blue in color.

I love the lamps. Haven't seen too many good pics of angel eyes on E30s. Where did you pick em up, and how much do they run? I want them. Even if i have to convert my whole wiring harness for projectors, I want em.

your right, my car is pretty cheap. hell, i traded my 4 wheeler straight up for it and have probobly only spent about $200 in mods for the thing. just cause it doesnt have all the little riced-out mods doesnt mean its cheap. actually, you could almost say i de-modded my car when i removed the ground effects front bumper. reiger gts bumper i think. the idea then was to put the stock back on and lower the car a inch or 2, but at the time the JC chip seemed like a little more fun. plus that gives me TWO mods im "running", not just one. man , i feel cooler already.
anyway, about the angels, i got them off a ebay store but didnt actually go through ebay to get them. i sent the guy a money order and he shipped them out. (great customer service by the way) i think the blues look great, they are alot more noticeable during the daytime than the white ones are, i have had the white ones before and they didnt quite have enough zing to 'em. its kinda hard to tell in the pics but the rings are actually pretty thin, not like those thick plastic ones, i think they give a better effect. plus they are bright as hell. i can drive at night with just the angels on if i wanted to.
I would have to agree i love angel eyes but they look kinda cheap man the halos are way to skinny for my love, they are really blue too over here might get in trouble for impersanting a cop, are they on the outside of your lights or inside? i did mine custom bought a e36 angel eye kit from ebay for 30 bucks some automotive goop and that was it you you can't have sealed beams to do what i did thou.

i mounted the angels outside the headlamps, then got a set of headlamp covers from Umnitza and put those on to kinda protect everything. plus it looks a little better than just having the angels sticking out in front.
that suxs cause ur still gonna get rocks and stuff that fly at that, are they just those stickers that you put to cover it or what?

That's a great idea, what he's done with the covers. Where did you splice in the lead for the angels? I'd rather do that than replace my headlamp system with projectors, at least in my current financial situation.
Materials and cost for that stuff, whitey_E30?
Oh, by the way, it's not cheap looking! And even if it was, it doesnt matter what it looks like, it's whether you've got the power to back it up.

look at mine mine were cheap but don't look cheap, the pinstripe i personally think is what makes them look cheap a thicker halo wouldn't have that look IMO

the angels i got for just over $100, and those clear tupperware looking headlamp covers i got for like 25 bucks i think. so it really wasnt too pricey. i did have those cheap LED angels a while ago and they dont work worth a shit. even if they are less than 30 bucks.
instead of splicing them into the headlamps, i ran them to a seperate switch and mounted it inside the car so i can flip them on and off whenever i want. this way i didnt have to cut into the wireing harness for the headlight.
