So I saw this car on kijiji.ca and I was like wow that'd be cool. And I got really into the car, and today. I bought it. I drove in a truck through 2 feet of know going 50 in a 90 for 2 hours to get to this car, and drove back.
So after 2 hours of my neck hurting from not taking my eyes off the car, I got it to the shop. I'll have picture's tomorrow.
The car is in AMAZING shape 137,000km on the clock, clutch is slipping but he gave me a brand new clutch with the car.
Brakes need to be done but it's no big deal. I have a shop.
I'm looking at doing plastic bumper swaps, front and back. Turbo, lowering the car alot, 15" rims with low profile tires, differential swap, paint job and a custom race inspired interior.
Going to be quite the car, going to open up a build thread once I have pictures.
nice i have an 84' 318i too. i got mine for free when it was a piece but i put 6 to 7k into it. there's so much you can do to them and if you like working on cars and doing stuff yourself then you picked a good car. good luck with it and post some more pics
