My first BMW! Some questions too.

My first BMW is a 1984 BMW 318i.

So I saw this car on kijiji.ca and I was like wow that'd be cool. And I got really into the car, and today. I bought it. I drove in a truck through 2 feet of know going 50 in a 90 for 2 hours to get to this car, and drove back.

So after 2 hours of my neck hurting from not taking my eyes off the car, I got it to the shop. I'll have picture's tomorrow.

This is it. 1984 BMW 318i - Sudbury BMW Cars For Sale - Kijiji Sudbury

The car is in AMAZING shape 137,000km on the clock, clutch is slipping but he gave me a brand new clutch with the car.

Brakes need to be done but it's no big deal. I have a shop.

I'm looking at doing plastic bumper swaps, front and back. Turbo, lowering the car alot, 15" rims with low profile tires, differential swap, paint job and a custom race inspired interior.

Going to be quite the car, going to open up a build thread once I have pictures.

Yes I did.

Compression test reads cyl#1- 146psi #2- 95psi(DRY) 125psi(WET) #3- 152psi #4- 144psi

I'm fairly good except for cyl #2, I'm more then likely going to have to rebuild or swap the engine.

Would like to keep it 4cyl, are there any swaps other then the S14 that are 4cyl?

Are there m10 rebuild kits? Complete with pistons, rods, gasket's etc..

Also looking for a turbo kit if I find a rebuild kit.

Hopefully working on it today. We're having 3 new hoists installed and I'm hoping they'll be done when I get there.
