my car is not as responsive in 3rd gear as i would like?

what can i do to make that better. i floor it in third and it takes a secondor two to respond, like turbo lag?. i would like it to respond like it does in second gear. a lot quicker.
could it be my throttle adjustment?i have to adjust full throttle stop under gas pedal and throttle butterfly
bad wires,dist. cap , dist rotor?
bad fuel pressure regulator?
valves out of tuning? then why does it respond in second
could i have a burnt valve?
or could i have a computer problem? replace ecu
is my car just made like this?slow?
maybe i need to adjust air flow? check maf
bad injectors?
is the problem fuel delivery,air delivery or just some electronic fault or mechanical adjustment or fault.

if i buy a jc chip will it help?
