My Brake Setup.....Opinions?

I am going with Brembo slotted rotors and Hawk HP Plus Race Pads on all four corners.

Any opinions from experience with this or a similar setup?

Hawk pads have good reputation. Why slotted rotors? I am a big advocate of solid/flats.

What car s this for? (let us know so that we can move the thread to teh right section)

I am going to go with the slotted setup for high speed hard braking heat dissipation.

This is for my E30

And HELL yes, I am tracking the car.

i love slotted rotors, esp if you live where it rains. when i put slotted rotors on my 540i i noticed an immediate improvement of its ability to come to a quick stop when the rotors are wet.

otherwise depending on the brake pad, they are mostly gimmick, since some new brake pads are designed to not gas like older ones. some, not all.

just get them, and dont look back. they look cool and they do help, just how much is debatable.
