My 87 325i - BMW Forum

i just recently aquired a 87' bmw 325. me and my friends are going to begin gutting it tmrw and i am aslo puting a stage 2 turbo with a big ass front mount and a direct port nitrous system from venom, in it replaced ecu, and manifold. i already have a full custom welded exhaust sytem on it with no restrictions. Carbon fiber strut brace and i am striping the entire body and replacing the front fenders with m5 fenders, 2000 e46 body kit and a carbon fiber wing and carbon fiber evo style hood, and widows with light weight racing windows. The stock back seat is being removed along with the front seats and being replaced with just dual racing seats with harness. The Carpet is going to be striped and replaced with just two floor mats and the rest of the interior is going to be fiberglassed with two 15inch subs right behind the from seats (gotta sound good when flyin) when my 325 is finished i should be pushing a 10 sec 1/4 mile.

This is what the car looks like now...Pre "Project Beast" The licence plate is an old one that was on the car when i bought it, (dont know what the hell a CA plate is doing in MD) but A lot Will be changed VERY VERY soon!!!! Keep looking for more to come...

Yeah, kinda already knew that, Not like im rushing into this thing without thinking, besides, The crew of ppl that we have working on the car are all obsessed and experienced with making cars run faster and look a hell of a lot hotter. We have a 2004 WRX with stage 3, 2003 Honda Civic HB with a stage 2, a brand new SRT-4 that Joe has done some shit 2 (dont pay attention to all of what they have done anymore) The main reason behind what we are calling "Project Beast" is just to see how far we can push something, so we went out, got a pretty old car worth less than 2G's and decided to make it a machine of envy, and also worth a HELL of a lot more. Trust us, when we are done here some months from now....I think that all will be impressed.

ill believe it when i see it, too bad your gonna need a new motor as soon as you put nos on it, why do you wanna cheat anyways? i hate nos, its just a way for people with slow cars to think they are fast. Unless you have a top end dragster and there is no other way possible to get more power then it is just lame

Interesting... M5 fenders and an e46 body kit?? Not trying to bash u or ne thing but this seems ridicously retarded to me. The body kit and fenders will look so out of place on an e30 man. E30 styling is already unique enough... its your car thats just my opinion.

Before all else is said, i need to reply to a few responses :

Our ablility and our knowledge of working with fiberglass makes the ablity to add different types of fenders and body kit mods completely easy, and the unique look of a 87 e30 isnt the best, so its a matter of opinion and that is ares, and as for the nitrious, the engine will be rebuilt completely, again, were not a bunch of kids screwing around with shit we dont know, i have already said that we are all expereinced and WE WILL be able to pull this off no problem, this isnt the first time we have taken a car and made it move. nitrious isnt used for a daily driver its used for a track vehicle, we are well aware of this already, and nitrous isnt cheating (this arguement is one of the most ridiculous things i hear, ppl really need to remove their head from their second point of contact) because if you have ever been to the track you know there are more then one racing bracket, one which includes nitrous use so its pretty fair. This car is not going to be a daily driver, its meant only for track and rally use (and for our own sick enjoyment of tearing shit up) so with that said...

Today was are second day of "Project Beast" we got started late and really only had about 2hrs to works, so we just gutted the inside and called it a day, tomorrows weather should permit a little more work to be done..
