So i've been workin on cars for about 15 years now, mostly i've been doing Honda/Acuras. I recently traded traded my 93 Civic for this 1988 BMW 325is.
Here's the 411:
new water pump and timing belt , new plugs and wires , new rotor cap and button , new valve cover gasket, rear main seal, intake and exhaust gasket , crank seal, cam seal, new clutch , and newer tranny, was recently rebuilt by transmission doctors in millington, new custome drive shaft with new u-joint, new quebo, cleaned and replace the gear oil in the diff , new radatior and new hoses, new eletric 16 inch torque flo radatior fan , thermastat, replaced the factor air box with a new adapter and air filter, has euro head lights, new rear strut tower bushings, replaced the stock speakers with much better kenwoods 6 1/2 3-way 180watt , and kenwood head unit , and a kendwood 200x4 amp to push, new shift knob and leather boot with red stitching. the a/c has been redone new oil and has been recharged so the a/c blows cold and the heat will burn you out , the wiper motor asembly has been replaced and did oil change yesterday so the oil is new ...
now the bad:
it needs a new oil pan gasket i noticed a few drops of oil on the ground, does smoke a lil in the high rpms due to the fact of old age of the valve guide seals, the piston rings were tested and all 6 are well with in operating range " test done at centeral automotive ," the powers steering has a leak some where in the lines so im just not runnin it, and theres one crack in the middle of the dash other than thats its a very good car
