I think you can get Anza's for less than that. In my research they seem to be the least expensive. I really don't know about their performance. Alot of these guys think the Stromung is the best and they could be right. I just purchased a Scorpion cat back system from Bavarian Auto and I like it. Good sound not too loud, it gives the car a nicely tuned tone. All 301 Stainless.

Just checked- Ansa free flow muffler with stainless tips $179.00 from Bavarian Auto Sport.

Good Luck

cool, thanx for the tips!! I'm still not certain of what to buy. I think the anza one I saw on ebay was the kit from the cat back for 200$ but not certain... Anyways would like to know if anyone has installed it on their bimmer so I could get some feed back on sound and performance...

IMHO Ansa is to be avoided as they are fragile and do not last (not just my opinion). If yu can afford them Boral, or Tru Flow are excellent and the factory Eberspacher (sp) does very well.

no they are not, avoid it. monza, aka pacesetter, are garbage. besides the quality of materials used, i have seen a few exhaust comparisons for various cars, large comparisons of 5-10 different systems on the same car, using the monza and its always dead last. sometimes they have even been more restrictive than the factory exhaust.
