3gs?? wtf!!! dude if u wanta get that then just sell your car and get an 325 IS and get power
lol..... id put money i have less invested into my 86 325 e than you do in your i, and that ive put up better autocross and 1/4 mile times then you ever will......even before i gave it boost. if you want to talk smack on the e's like everyone else come race mine. Im tired of disrespect and am willing to prove that a e can have power without high investment.
and 3 g for a supercharger kit on a 91 318is isnt a bad deal(youd spend more than that getting a good i or doing a motor swap), it'l put that m42 engine at like 220 hp and 220ft lb or so, with no motor swap or terrible work he could walk on your i so dont talk smack on BMW's different than yours unless you can back it up
That is a very strong idea and highly tested on the e's, but i dont like the power gains for the effort time and money put in. my e before i started thinking turbo had a custom chip a friend of mine locally makes, an i dual exhaust system, a K&N custom intake i built using the same Sabb intercooler im using now for the turbo setup(kinda the reason i started it all lol, i base mine on an intercooler most people base there on a turbo hehehe), a 3.73 LSD (which i was lucky enough to get on the car when i bought it for 200 bucks --minus an interior due to fire but amazingly still ran) and performance wires.
This was a pretty potent setup for an e in my opinion but my times really dropped when i got suspension and good tires, but those tires are long since good now lol
Oh yeah the kicker, no catlycic converters and a reground cam that you can have done at almost any machine chop for a decent price i paid 80 bucks and the guys a friend of mine.. this is my first suggestion for power and opening up that shitty single exhaust.. get a i the e creates way to much backpressure which starves the motor from HP
