Motor Swap for teh e30?

Ok guys and girls, here goes.

The guy that I bought my 325e from has 4 e30's. He just happens to have 2 motors available as he will be parting out a couple of his cars.
I am seriously considering ceasing any and all motor work on my car for one of two reasons.

1: A fairly low mile (rebuilt) M20B27
2: A well running and good shape M20B25 out of an "is"

He will sell me the motor(M20B25) and all associated electronics, etc... for about $400 Canadian, then it would need to be swapped(not something I am prepared, or willing to do on my own as I don't have the experience doing an actual swap).

Any input from my fellow 'Werkzers would be welcome!

Personally, I wouldn't do it.
If you were going to do an engine swap, you might as well upgrade...

Oh so you have an eta motor? Get a motor like the M50 that's in my 325, but instead get the e34 525 one so that you dont need to source an oil pan.

x2 M50 is the way to go...

BTW we have loaded emissions testing here in california too...doesnt stop us from doing motor swaps...just have to get it CARB(California Air Resources Board) approved through BAR(Bureau of Automotive Reclamation [i think thats what it stands for, not 100% sure]) But then the car ultimately becomes smogged as the car the engine is from, so it has to have all the emissions equipment of the car it came from too, thus OBDII swaps are SO rare in california...wayyyyyyyy too much work...
